Frontloader designed the Festival logo.

Creative New Zealand

Creative New Zealand has offered us a grant of $3340 towards the cost of Elinor Bennett's airfares and fees.

Bow Brand International in association with Kim Webby

Bow Brand, makers of harp strings, in association with NZ harpmaker Kim Webby, who sells their strings in NZ, have most generously given £1500 to the Festival. £500 will go towards Elinor Bennett's airfare, and the rest is to pay for some luxuries to make the Festival more enjoyable for everyone.

New Zealand Community Trust

The New Zealand Community Trust has offered the Festival a grant of $2000 towards the cost of Elinor Bennett's accommodation and advertising the events open to the public. The funds were generated by the Stadium Bar and Casino, 1 Bunny St, Wellington.

Massey University Conservatorium of Music

The Conservatorium of Music at Massey University's Wellington Campus has most generously offered to assist the Festival by making their facilities available at a substantially discounted rate.

Lion Foundation

The Lion Foundation has made a donation of over $1500 to assist with a variety of Festival administrative costs, including the cost of printing and stationery. These costs add up, and we are grateful to the Lion Foundation for their willingness to contribute in this way.

Pub Charity Inc.

Pub Charity Inc. has made a donation of $1000 to assist with the cost of hiring the venue for the Festival. The funds were generated by Magills Bar and Restaurant, 182 Thorndon Quay, Wellington.

Singapore International Airlines

Singapore International Airlines has offered us a concession on two airfares from Britain to the Festival.

Harps of the South by Keith Harrison

Harps of the South will be providing pens for the Festival, so that participants will not suffer from memory overload trying to store all the Festival information. Keith and Heather Harrison have also offered to donate to the Festival all the very significant costs they have incurred as members of the Festival Committee.

NZSME

The New Zealand Society for Musical Education has generously supported the Festival by providing a $200 scholarship to assist a student from a New Zealand secondary school to attend the Festival. The scholarship has been awarded jointly to Elizabeth and Anna Botkin of Christchurch. Further information about the NZSME can be found on

New Zealand Symphony Orchestra

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra has very generously offered us the use of their Kim Webby pedal harp for the Festival at no cost, for the use of Festival performers.
