Keith is a full-time maker of lever harps and music stands, and plays when he has time. He will be responsible for arranging the merchants who will attend the Festival.
Heather supports Keith in his harp-making by producing their carry-bags. She has enjoyed learning to play Keith's harps for the last two years. Besides being Treasurer, Heather will have the principal responsibility for Festival registrations. She is also Treasurer and Registration Secretary for the Harp Society of New Zealand.
Susan enjoys playing the harp, improvising and singing. She is a member of the Executive of the Harp Society of New Zealand.
Carolyn is the Principal Harp of the NZSO, and President of the Harp Society of New Zealand. She is our main contact with Elinor Bennett, has been active on Festival fundraising, and has primary responsibility for organising the tutors and the selection of the performers for concerts and masterclasses.
Robin has completed a BMus in performance harp at Victoria University, and is now a teacher and freelance performer. He has recently built a triple harp (with help from Keith Harrison), and has taught himself to play it. He is a member of the Executive of the Harp Society of New Zealand.
Frances is the mother of a young harpist, and has also begun to play the harp herself. She is responsible for the planning timeline for the Festival. She is the Secretary of the Harp Society of New Zealand.
Winifred is the mother of a tertiary student harpist, but is not tempted to play the harps in her house. She has been active in fundraising, developed the Festival programme, and has responsibility for the website.
